Bowen Pies Refund Policy

We handmake every pie fresh in our Lancashire bakery and pack them with care, ready to be delivered to your door in chilled, temperature-controlled packaging. We do everything we can to make sure your pies arrive in top notch condition – but if something’s gone wrong, here’s how we handle it.

Chilled Delivery Promise

Our pies are sent chilled (not frozen) and packed in insulated boxes with a cool pack to keep them safe and fresh in transit for up to 48 hours. It’s perfectly normal for the cool pack to melt during the journey – it’s the insulation doing the real work.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If something’s gone wrong - like visible damage, missing items, or the wrong pies - please get in touch within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve it properly, we’ll need:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the packaging, pies and packing slip

  • A full description of the issue

Without this information within 48 hours of delivery, we’re unable to assess the situation or issue a refund/replacement.

Late Deliveries

We aim to deliver on your chosen date, but occasionally unexpected courier delays can happen, particularly around Bank Holidays or during busy periods.

As our packaging keeps pies chilled for up to 48 hours, most delays won’t affect quality, but if there’s a concern, just reach out and we’ll do our best to help.

Cancellations & Change of Mind

Because all pies are made fresh to order and perishable, we can’t offer refunds if you change your mind once your order has been baked and dispatched.

If you need to make changes or cancel, please contact us as early as possible, ideally within a few hours of placing your order.
